Smart Helicopter app good for
I disagree with RexSpoof. I like being able to lock the throttle in a steady state without it bouncing back to zero. Perhaps adding a feature where locking the throttle could be turned off/on would be best so as to satisfy everyone?
Also, the light control doesnt seem to do anything for me. Does anyone else see this issue? What is the light control supposed to do? (reason for 4 stars)
Would it be possible to add an auto hover preset?
Other than that, my little helicopter is fantastic. Takes some time to get used to the sensitivity of the controls but once you get the knack of the handling, it is loads if fun to play with. THANK YOU GROUPON!!!

Great fun. 5 minute fly time per charge is a plus for me, as it creates manageable sharing for kids. Fly it til it needs charging, then pass it on. Wait for a full charge or you get a short turn. Very nice this way.
Cant quite get mine to hold steady, always a slight drift. Tuned the rotate to nil, but still a drift. Acceptable, especially at the price.
As mentioned elsewhere, light switch does not turn off lights. On mine it causes a throttle surge!
I have the exact problem with the charger,light,and losing climb its totally normal. But besides that it is the best.
I have NO idea why there are sooo many losers which gave LOW RATING. It works exceptionally well. You do have to practice a little before you start enjoying it!!!!!!
PS .this helicopter is designed for indoor use NOT outdoor (I saw a negative comment from an idiot who took it outside)
For a fun bday gift this was great. Stable hover flight indoors for the price. Soooo much fun. I wouldnt pay more unless there is more battery. Dies in <10 mins.
Mine works pretty well. True, it is a bit finicky to control, but honestly for the price it is pretty well built and works decently.
Some bad moments
This app doesnt work under iOS 5 because the dongle could not be activated. With my iPod under iOS 4.2 it works as expected. Because of this only 2 Stars.
Who ever made this helicopter should really consider outsourcing to countries that actually make sturdy products, Ive had the helicopter for 5 minutes and the charge slot on it has popped out and there no means of fixing it, just an awful waste of money, please refund me
Mine arrived with a non-functioning tail rotor. Controlling the helicopter is impossible....its on the bookcase shelf after 5 minutes...dont bother !!!!
The helicopter was awesome for the first 5 minutes then went outside and. Controller wont work and chopper just went super high and now stuck on a tree and wont budge . :( if youre using this dont use outside

... Doesnt work at all ... Ever... Never!!!
First flight: straight up no responce to controller until out of range, fell into tree.
Second flight: straight up full power no responce to controller until out of range, fell onto pavement
Third flight- me throwing it in garbage.
Holding it in my hand and the controller in the other, there is about 30 seconds of lag time between adjusting throttle, or direction, and actually seeing the motors change speed
