Charger doesnt charge very well and sometimes it goes straight up, sometimes it doesnt. But our kids love it and we do have fun playing with it.

Main body construction looks sturdy and strong. Motor seems powerful. However, poor flight controls. Poor response with lag. Inconsistent drifting that is not correctible....and Im experienced with various kinds of RC helis. Got this as a gift through Groupon special. Not worth the discount price, let alone full price. Other entry level RC helis of the same type (eg. Blade mCX or Airhogs) will fly more precisely and are more easily controllable. The nature of infrared controls (very limited range and interference from light sources...TV, sun) doesnt help. Stay away from this!

This is ONLY to be used INDOORS. If you use it outdoor youll lose it. I have the same gripes as others on here, it doesnt really hover at a constant height, and when close to walls, it tends to get sucked into the vortex and goes crashing into them lol, but if youre in a large indoor space, and start with a low throttle, the ground effect will keep it hovering 1/3 foot off the ground...start there, and get used to the directional controls, and gently go up on the throttle.....youll still find that U have to adjust the throttle cause itll keep climbing, but for an amateur looking for a little novelty, its fun. If youre expecting a top notch helicopter flying experience, or if us play with better RCs, this will disappoint..... Also, others a right, the charger cable indicates full charge when the light goes back ON, and the light control does nothing at all, lol, and my wife is harassing me now so I have to go...enjoy!

For a fun bday gift this was great. Stable hover flight indoors for the price. Soooo much fun. I wouldnt pay more unless there is more battery. Dies in <10 mins.

terrible waste of money

Mine works pretty well. True, it is a bit finicky to control, but honestly for the price it is pretty well built and works decently.

First of all if the volume on the iPhone is not at max, the response is not very good until the volume was adjusted to full. It can stay steady at an altitude and no spinning like some other plastic helis. Fly the way that is suppose to both indoor and outdoor but must be no wind situation. Like to see the improvement on the control, just by tilting the iPhone to move around would be fantastic.

Once you get used to the controls this helicopter is amazingly precise. It is intended for indoor use only as it is very light. The controls are very sensitive and I would recommend turning off the iPhone gyro feature and using the regular controls. Also never let your thumbs off the controls because it is very sensitive and it would make it harder to control when you touch the screen again. Having said that, this helicopter has one of the most precise Gyro systems in this category of small copters. I can now land it on a tissue box or a coaster! Ive been playing with it for a month now and I still have a ton of fun with it! I also love that it has a rechargeable battery as opposed to others I bought that need regular batteries in the remote control and can only charge the helicopter from there. All in all, an excellent product!

Light switch doesnt work , and batterie doesnt last long at all ... But besides that , its still a very nice helicopter.

I tried to play with my iPhone 5, but it is not compatible. Please update it to make it also work with the iPhone 5.

Update the app, pls -_-

Terribly NOT SERIOUS to sell models with controller and app and than not update your app! What we have to do?

It is very fun and cool but you need to fix lights on/off it does not work once you fix that 5 stars ☀☀☀☀☀

Got this through GroupOn, and the control works on an iPhone 4, 4S, and an iPad 3. Helicopter flies fairly well. USB charging is great, but the light status is opposite to the instructions. When the red light on the USB plug is off, its charging, and when it comes back on, its fully charged. Only complaint is that the helicopter light control doesnt work; instead of turning the lights on/off, it pegs the throttle for a second. Please fix the light control for a five star rating.

I bought this through groupon and flew it fine with my iPhone but it wouldnt work with my sons iPod touch which was who it was intended for so ultimately we were disappointed

Worked perfect out of the box.

This helicopter was completely unresponsive to the controls. The first time I took it outside it immediately went 25 feet into the air, in spite of the fact that I lowered the throttle down completely, and then it flew 30 feet sideways landing in the neighbors yard where the sprinklers were running. Now its dead. What good is a remote control device if it doesnt respond to the remote? Do not waste your money on this piece of garbage!

Works better than I hoped! I use it on iPhone 4s and iPad. If you have the choice go with iPad - larger controls make it easier. One complaint: the light function doesnt work. The helicopters lights are always on and dont respond to remote command to switch off. Maybe its my copter.

This app works amazing for my iPhone 3gs the controls are easy to learn and make flying the heli very easy. The heli is high quality and doesnt break easily. If you are thinking about getting the heli GET IT

Simply put, controls do not control the helicopter. So it crashes ALL the time. A source of great frustration. Please do not waste your money.
